TRINITY MISSION (NIGHT SHELTER IN CASTLEFORD.)

Over recent months a group of us have been working on setting up a Night Shelter for the winter months in Castleford. We have met some of our local rough sleepers at the Soup Kitchen on a Thursday evening.  We intend to open from November to March, Thursday evenings from 10pm until 7.30am. We now have a management committee, a bank account, some committed volunteers and a building.

The Night shelter is now closed till we start again in the autumn but we now run a drop in on a Sunday eveing between 6:00 pm and 9:00 for soup and a chat along with a cloth's bank

We are now in conversation with the police, local councillors and the local MP who are very supportive.
